Spring/summer 2020

The 2020 summer palette: bright, soft colours and lighter densities

The 2020 summer range brings together pieces in viscose, micromodal, satin and tulle. Each of these weights behaves differently against the skin: viscose offers a cool, fluid drape; micromodal has a gentle, soft hand that suits close cuts; satin gives a smooth, polished surface; tulle introduces transparency where the design calls for it. This spread of densities means the collection can be read as a set of choices about warmth, movement and coverage.

Reading the collection by product type

The most direct way to navigate this range is to start from the piece you already prefer. The long satin nightdress with white lace carries a clean, elongated line with thin straps, while the printed viscose nightdress in red shades leans on a bolder floral repeat. Nightdresses here split roughly between those built on micromodal and those that rely on satin or printed viscose, which changes both the fall of the piece and the way it feels during sleep.

Short dressing gowns and negligees

Robe and negligee shapes appear with several distinct sleeve and trim decisions. A short micromodal gown with lace at the cuffs keeps the silhouette compact, while a three-quarter-sleeve version gives the arm more room. The negligee options range from micromodal with cross-back straps to tulle and white lace with transparent panels.

Two-piece pyjamas

Sets and pyjama pieces repeat the same material logic. A blue-and-white viscose shirt-and-shorts ensemble brings the printed fabric into a coordinated two-piece, while micromodal and lace versions with short-sleeve tops offer a pared-back alternative. The choice between shirt-style tops and T-shirt-style tops is one of the quiet structural contrasts running through the range.

Pattern and colour as seasonal markers

Bright and soft colours sit next to each other on purpose. The blue and white print appears across multiple product types, from a negligee to a pyjama set to a short dressing gown. Floral red shades appear on a long viscose nightdress. Solids in satin, micromodal and tulle ground the more graphic prints. Patterns stay simple: repeated motifs rather than elaborate scenes, which keeps the focus on the cut and the way the fabric moves.

Choosing within the 2020 summer edit

Start with the density you want against your skin. Viscose and satin feel cooler and glide more; micromodal is softer and closer to the body. From there, decide how much coverage you want: a long nightdress, a short gown, a negligee or a two-piece set. Lace appears regularly but in different roles — at a cuff, along a neckline, on a strap, across the back. The trim is never decorative in isolation; it marks the edge of a sleeve, the point of a shoulder, the line of a hem.

For anyone building a complete warm-weather nightwear wardrobe, this collection offers the main formats in a coherent set of materials: nightdresses, robes, negligees, pyjamas and jumpsuits all sit within the same colour logic and the same careful attention to where a strap falls or a sleeve ends.
